Could you practice like this?
Tennis walls are a great way to accelerate your practice and improve your confidence.
One of my subscribers said they were watching the video I did on the effortless one handed back end and they said, Hey Tom, how can I hit an effortless forehand? Well, you can use the rubber band effect a little bit with your forehand, but let me say right here that....

Hi Tom, its the best way to perfect one s tennis: the wall. i like it also, but i have none
happy tennis
I spent many hours with the wall developing technique… it’s a great tool.
All the best,
Tom
Hi Tom…very good points and video. I’d like to add the non hitting arm is so important to the stroke. 1) assists in the grip change; 2) guides the take back & rubber band effect; 3) and is alive going back as the hitting arm and racquet move forward…this separation of the arms during the stroke adds effortless racquet speed into the contact area.
Hi Bernie,
Well said!!!
To your tennis success,

Great video Tom. I will remember the elastic band pull back when I play tonight
Great stay loose almost like you’re not trying at all… that will give you the feeling of effortlessness!
To your tennis success,
Tom

Excellent and concise instruction!. Is advisable to practice the service against the wall?
Thank you .
Yes it’s great practice all you need are a few balls and you can hit a lot of serves in a short period of time… but don’t over stress your shoulder… and STAY LOOSE do not grip the racquet too tight.
To your tennis success,
Tom
very informative, you have great, easy to follow videos. thanks tom!
You’re welcome!
All the best,
Tom
Hi tom, could you please demonstrate the two handed backhand, Thanks bob
Hi Bob,
I have a backhand course here on the site that covers the one-handed, two-handed and slice… it’s reasonably priced… in that course former WTA player Stephanie Theiler demonstartes the 2 hander in slow motion and a voiceover to explain key points. I also have numerous videos on YouTube covering the 2 hander.
To your tennis success,
Tom
Thanks. Tom – that was very useful. I shall be spending more time than usual on the wall this coming month!
